It seems like every summer the Vols are able to make news when it comes to Track & Field/XC and 2018 is no different.

On Sunday in Toronto, Canada, Tennessee’s Shania Collins and Nathan Strother both earned relay gold for the United States during the NACAC Senior Championships.

It was Collins’ first time representing the USA, but she was no stranger to success as she ran the second leg 4x100m relay, which won in a facility-record time of 42.50 seconds.

Strother notched a record of his own after he led off the winning 4x400m relay team (3:00.60) to complete the meet. It was his second relay gold of the summer.

The NACAC Senior Championships are the North American, Central American, and Caribbean Championships - a continental track and field athletics event organized by the North America, Central America, and Caribbean Athletic Association.
