McCollough selected the Vols over Alabama, Auburn and South Carolina. He joins safety Anthony Harris in Tennessee’s 2019 class, giving the Vols two top 200 safety prospects.
According to 247 Sports, McCollough is the 131st ranked player in the 2019 class and the 10th ranked safety in the country. He is the 15th rated player out of the state of Georgia — a place that Jeremy Pruitt and his staff continue to hit hard on the trail. That’s the 8th player currently committed to Tennessee in the 2019 class out of the Peach State.
McCollough visited Tennessee once in the spring, then returned for the Rocky Top Cookout on July 28th. He gives the Vols their 19th commitment of the cycle to this point, bringing Tennessee up to 11th in the class rankings, according to 247 Sports.
