Good news continues to roll in for the Tennessee Volunteers when it comes to recruiting. On Thursday night, 5-star prospect Quavaris Crouch released his top 7 finalists, and the Vols made the cut.
Crouch is ranked as the 21st overall recruit and 2nd overall athlete according to the 247Sports Composite rating.
I thank God for it all let's see where he takes me ✝️ pic.twitter.com/SlOicrXcO0

Crouch is one of the top remaining priorities for the staff in the 2019 class. He’s an athletic prospect who plays both running back and linebacker at a high level. Tennessee would like him most at the latter position, but he’s the type of player who you can experiment with and see where his talents shine.
Most expect Tennessee to be a factor in his recruitment down to signing day. Crouch has visited Knoxville three times since January 2018 and constantly raves about head coach Jeremy Pruitt in interviews. It’s not clear if Tennessee will receive one of his official visits, but it might not matter since they’ve already had him on campus so many times.
Crouch will also be in attendance for Tennessee’s season opener against West Virginia in Charlotte. He’s actually from the area and is currently in his senior year at Harding University High School.
It certainly would not hurt to witness a Volunteer victory at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday afternoon...
