Tennessee has emerged as a legitimate candidate for another top prospect today, landing inside of 2019 athlete Zion Puckett’s top three. The Griffin, Georgia native announce his final three today, along with a commitment date of August 17th. Alabama and Auburn joined Tennessee in Puckett’s top options. Ohio State and South Carolina were eliminated from his top five.

At 6-1, 190 pounds, Puckett is listed as a receiver, cornerback and a safety. He is a four-star recruit according to both Rivals and 247 Sports. Puckett is the 149th ranked player in the 2019 class, according to 247 Sports.
Auburn is the heavy favorite to land Puckett, picking up six crystal ball projections for the Peach State prospect. He last visited Auburn on June 1st and already has an official visit lined up with the Tigers in October.
Tennessee has gotten the better of Auburn so far in the 2019 cycle, winning battles for top prospects Wanya Morris and Ramel Keyton. Can Pruitt make up enough ground with Puckett to secure another one? We’ll find out on August 17th.
