Tennessee’s 2019 recruiting class already features four interior defensive linemen, but the Vols have a couple of chances to add to that total. One of those chances is Kristian Williams, a four-star defensive tackle out of Memphis. Williams narrowed his choices to six over the weekend, placing the Vols on the right side of the cut line.
Memphis, LSU, Indiana, Missouri and Minnesota joined the Vols in Williams’ top six.

The 6-2, 272 pound tackle prospect is the 13th ranked player out of the state of Tennessee and the 372nd ranked player in the 2019 class, according to 247 Sports. Tennessee offered Williams on April 12th of 2017 and got him on campus for a visit shortly after.
The hometown Tigers got in on Williams back in February, getting him on campus for an official visit in April. Tennessee currently holds just two in-state commitments to this point — Jackson Lampley and Elijah Simmons.
