On Thursday, Rick Barnes and Tennessee basketball announced yet another big time home and home series. Since Barnes has arrived in Knoxville, he’s proven that he’s willing to play any program, anywhere.
In 2019 and 2020, the Wisconsin Badgers will be on the schedule. The 2019 meeting will take place in Knoxville and the 2020 meeting will take place in Madison.

The all-time record between the two schools stands at 2-2. The Badgers won the last meeting in Maui in 2016.
Tennessee added a home and home with Cincinnati last month. They will take on Memphis in Knoxville next season, then in Nashville in 2020.
This season the Vols have already taken on Kansas, Gonzaga, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest and Louisville. It’s become a theme of the Barnes era to take on these early big tests. Clearly, something is working.
Wisconsin currently sits at 11-4 this season in head coach Greg Gard’s fourth season at the helm.
