The 6-6 forward is the 22nd ranked player in the 2020 class, according to 247 Sports. Tennessee is the latest in a line of big time offers for Walker, joining schools like Florida, Florida State, Auburn, Georgetown, Xavier and Memphis.
Walker has already taken unofficial visits to Florida, Florida State and Georgetown.
Tennessee should have plenty of spots open in the 2020 class. Grant Williams, Jordan Bone, Jordan Bowden and Lamonte Turner will each be seniors next season, assuming Williams doesn’t enter the NBA Draft.
Admiral Schofield and Kyle Alexander will move on after this year and will have their spots filled by five-star guard Josiah James and three-star small forward Davonte Gaines.
So far in the 2020 cycle, Tennessee has focused in on shooting guard Keon Johnson, who is the top ranked player in the state. Johnson is the 29th ranked player in the class, checking in just behind Walker.
Here’s a quick look at what Walker brings to the table.
