Tennessee still sits at five wins after the bye week, but that hasn’t slowed down the bowl projections this week. The Vols finish with Missouri and Vanderbilt, needing to win one of those to become eligible for a bowl for the first time since 2016.

The Volunteers will enter the weekend as underdogs once again against Missouri, despite the two programs trending in opposite directions.

Assuming Tennessee can get at least one of these next two games, the bowl possibilities are wide open. Just about every publication out there projects Tennessee to be a part of the bowl field, but the destinations vary.

ESPN: Gator vs. Iowa

Stadium: Gator vs. Indiana

USA Today: Gator vs. Indiana

Athlon: Gator vs. Michigan

Bleacher Report: Gator vs. Michigan

CBS: Music City vs. Louisville

CFBNews: Liberty vs. Iowa State

The Athletic: Outback vs. Minnesota

So we have a clear favorite in the Gator Bowl, which makes a lot of sense. But the door is still open for the Outback Bowl, while the Liberty and Music City remain as other options. Iowa and Michigan seem to be tough matchups for Tennessee at this point, even with how the Volunteers have turned things around late in the year.

Per The Action Network, Tennessee would be a 13 point underdog against Michigan, for example.

Let’s assume Tennessee finds at least one win over the next two weeks. Where do you want the Vols to go and who do you want them to play? Let us know below.
