According to Evan Daniels of 247 Sports, Tennessee has picked up another commitment in its 2020 class — one that already ranks 4th in the country. Santiago Vescovi verbally committed to the Volunteers on Friday, but this one comes with another added possibility.
Vescovi could play this season, perhaps as early as January.

The 6-2 point guard from Uruguay plans on taking the SAT in December in an attempt to try and enroll at Tennessee in January.
Per 247 Sports, Vescovi is a four-star guard that ranks 74th in the entire 2020 class. He joins five-star guards Jaden Springer and Keon Johnson, along with four-star wing Corey Walker Jr.
Vescovi transferred to the NBA Global Academy in Australia this summer. He emerged as a top international talent over the last few years playing in the NBA Academy Latin America.
Tennessee doesn’t have much depth behind Lamonte Turner, so adding another lead guard to the equation could prove beneficial down the stretch. We’ll see if that happens in the next month or so.
Looking forward to 2020, Tennessee is set for the departure of Jordan Bowden and Lamonte Turner. Although they’ll be young, this class of four guards will be deep and supremely talented — especially if Josiah James returns for year two. Tennessee also has Victor Bailey Jr. in the fold for next year, giving Barnes yet another option at point guard.
