Tennessee-Vanderbilt opening line released

The Vols are big favorites.

It’s the final week of the regular season and the Tennessee Volunteers have already clinched a bowl bid. But don’t think they’re going to look past Vanderbilt because of that. The Commodores have dominated this series recently, capitalizing on Tennessee’s struggles and instability.

Three straight wins against Tennessee is the most they’ve accumulated since the 1920s. Even more embarrassing for the Volunteers? Two of those three have been total blowouts.

Jeremy Pruitt is looking to fix that trend on Saturday afternoon.

The guys out in Vegas think Tennessee will fix that issue this coming weekend. The Volunteers have opened as a 20 point favorite over Vanderbilt, according to Circa Sports.

Vanderbilt sits at just 3-8 on the year with wins over ETSU, Northern Illinois and Missouri. They bottomed out against UNLV, losing 34-10 at home in October.

Now the Commodores have a shot to salvage something from this dreadful season, but they’ll have to beat a hot Tennessee team in Knoxville to do so.

Tennessee has won four in a row and five of six to revive their season. Blowing the doors of a bad Vanderbilt team on senior day would be a nice way to send off Darrell Taylor, Jauan Jennings, Marquez Callaway, Nigel Warrior and Daniel Bituli.
