It’s pretty staggering to see the amount of work that goes into getting the team down there. All the prep work with the hotel — from setting up the players and coaches with rooms, to creating makeshift offices to keep up with recruiting efforts — all of this has to be planned out in a short window, then executed in the week before the game.
Tennessee will go through final preparations over the next couple of days and take part in Bowl festivities. Then they’ll have a chance to finish at 8-5 on January 2nd, which would be a truly remarkable finish after such a dreadful start to the season.
