A name to store away.

It’s possible that Tennessee’s 2020 quarterback situation is already wrapped up with the commitment of Harrison Bailey. We’ve seen a couple of new offers since offensive coordinator Jim Chaney arrived, but those seem to be backup plans at this time. With a quick look towards 2021, Brock Vandagriff is one of a few names to remember right now.

Vandagriff is a 6-2, 188 pound quarterback out of Bogart, Georgia. According to 247 Sports, Vandagriff is a four-star prospect and lands inside of their top 100 prospects for the 2021 class. He is currently the 5th ranked pro-style passer in the class.

Vandagriff visited Tennessee on Wednesday. He also saw the Vols on September 8th last football season.

The four-star passer has now seen Tennessee, South Carolina and Florida in recent weeks. He also visited Clemson, Auburn, Georgia and LSU during the 2018 football season. Vandagriff has attracted offers from nearly every SEC school to this point, while also picking up offers from Oklahoma, Clemson, Michigan and Nebraska. Tennessee offered him in June of 2018.

The home state Georgia Bulldogs currently have the lead in the crystal ball department, but only have one vote to this point.
