It wasn’t all that long ago when Ajou Ajou’s recruiting profile looked pretty empty. Offers from Buffalo, Florida Atlantic and UCF weren’t all that impressive, but things have changed quickly for the receiver out of Canada.
Offers two weeks ago from Indiana and Iowa State upped the ante. Then Texas A&M and Penn State took things to a different level. Then Nick Saban and Alabama came calling. Later on Thursday, Jeremy Pruitt and Tennessee came calling.
Tennessee officially offered Ajou on Thursday, getting in early on a prospect that is clearly about to skyrocket up the recruiting rankings. Ajou noted the offer on Twitter.

Secrets don’t stay secrets for long in the recruiting world.
The 6-3, 196 pound receiver prospect is a two-sport athlete, starring on the basketball court as well. He moved to Canada to Florida earlier this year, which explains why he’s just now being discovered.
Recruiting services have some catching up to do with Ajou. 247 Sports has him as a three-star prospect who ranks outside of the top 1,000 in the 2020 class. Considering the offers that he’s picked up over the last few days, you can expect that ranking to look dramatically different soon.
Tennessee has a need at receiver with Marquez Callaway and Jauan Jennings set to play their final year in Knoxville this fall. Ajou is the latest offer — we’ll see if he develops into a legitimate option soon.
