Sweet sixteen.
On the surface, Tennessee has accomplished what they’ve come to the NCAA Tournament to do — win. You can’t argue with results.
However, it’s been difficult for the Vols. Colgate’s Jordan Burns nearly single-handedly ended the tournament hopes of Tennessee. A total second half meltdown against Iowa could have very easily sent the Vols packing. Those inconsistencies have to get ironed out in a hurry if Tennessee wants to get by Purdue and Carsen Edwards.
On today’s podcast, Evan and I will dive into some of those inconsistencies, plus take a quick look at Purdue.
- Colgate’s plan to contain Grant Williams
- Jordan Burns heroics
- Tennessee’s dominant first half vs. Iowa
- .....Tennessee’s collapse against Iowa
- Defensive intensity inconsistency
- Look ahead to Purdue.
