For now, Holly Warlick is still the head coach of the Tennessee Lady Vols. Those days would seem to be numbered, following yet another disappointing season in Knoxville.
The Lady Vols exited the NCAA Tournament over the weekend after a loss to UCLA. Tennessee nearly missed the tournament this season and needed one final win against LSU just to be a part of the field. It’s widely believed that Warlick will be fired — eventually.
Athletics director Phillip Fulmer is already at work finding a replacement, according to Gene Henley of the Times Free Press. He reports that Louisville is “prepared” to lose Jeff Walz to Tennessee once the season ends.

Walz is 330-99 in 12 seasons in Louisville. Has 3 FF, 2 runner-up finishes on resume.
Cards are 31-3, in Sweet 16 against Oregon State Friday.
Louisville’s season will continue on Friday in the Sweet 16. Walz is 330-99 in his 12 years at Louisville. He’s taken the Cardinals to three final four appearances, including two national championship appearances.
Again, we’re still waiting on official word on Warlick, but what are your thoughts on Walz potentially taking her place?
