On March 29th, 2018, four-star athlete Kristian Story committed early to Tennessee. The 2020 prospect decommitted shortly after in September. On Sunday, Tennessee appeared in what Story called his “final five.”

Alabama, Notre Dame, LSU and Texas A&M joined Tennessee in his top five.

So what’s Story been up to since we last heard from him? He’s been busy on visits — a lot of visits. Last fall he visited Alabama and picked up an offer from Notre Dame. Story saw South Bend in November and plans to return again this summer. He picked up a Texas A&M offer back in January and already has an official visit scheduled to College Station in June.

The 6-1, 206 pound prospect is out of Lanett, Alabama. He’s played at the quarterback position in high school, racking up 75 passing touchdowns and over 5,700 yards passing over the past two seasons. Story has added nearly 2,000 yards rushing during that time.

According to 247 Sports, Story checks in as the 149th overall prospect in the 2020 class. He’s the 8th ranked safety prospect, but could also end up on the offensive side of the ball at receiver. Considering Tennessee’s need at receiver, that’s likely where he would start out in Knoxville.
