Tennessee sends out three new 2020 offers

Three new names.

New offers in the 2021 and 2022 classes go out every day as Jeremy Pruitt and his staff try to plan for the future, but Tennessee has taken this week to send out several new 2020 offers as well. Earlier in the week it was linebacker Nick Herbig and JUCO cornerback Brian George. Yesterday, the Vols offered two more linebackers and a defensive end prospect. Here’s a quick overview of each new offer.

Three-star LB Choe Bryant-Strother

The 6-2, 230 pound linebacker ranks as the 497th player in the 2020 class according to 247 Sports, but he’s likely due for a bump after an impressive showing at The Opening regionals. He’s since picked up offers from Tennessee and Michigan after that performance. The Atlanta area prospect now holds offers from Texas A&M, LSU, Kentucky and Ole Miss, among several others.

Expect to hear more from this name in the summer months.

Three-star LB Jackson LaDuke

Tennessee went back out west to offer LaDuke, who comes from Sparks, Nevada. The 6-3, 220 pound linebacker fits the profile of an edge presence for Tennessee, which they desperately need to address in the 2020 class. LaDuke ranked outside of the top 800 prospects, according to 247 Sports. However, he holds offers from UCLA, USC, Oregon and Nebraska, among others.

Three-star DL Cooper Davis

Tennessee is the fourth power five offer for Davis, who comes out of Melbourne, Florida. He ranks outside of 247’s top 1,000 players in the 2020 class. However, West Virginia came calling in February and Tennessee along with Syracuse have since followed. The 6-5, 245 pound prospect projects as a strong-side defensive end.
