Despite no draftees in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Volunteers will still be represented by a select few during rookie minicamps in the coming weeks.

Alexis Johnson Jr., Justin Martin, and Venzell Boulware have been extended invitations to participate in camp throughout May 10-12.

Johnson Jr.’s - the most recent graduate - announcement came yesterday via Twitter. He finished his two-year career on Rocky Top with 64 tackles, five sacks, and one pass deflection.

He will attend the Tennessee Titans’ minicamp in Nashville, Tennessee.

Martin finished his career with the Vols in 2017 and spent the past year out of football. Boulware left the program in 2017 and finished his career with the Miami Hurricanes, starting six games in 2018.

The Kansas City Chiefs invited Martin and the Denver Broncos are the ones that gave Boulware a call.

Out of three, Johnson Jr. has the best likelihood of even sniffing a NFL roster. He improved his play and had a pretty decent 2018 because of it.

Martin has an exceptional blend of size and speed, but could never put it together at UT. He was oftentimes the target of many, many completed passes.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t watch of any Boulware in 2018, but six starts is certainly something to hang your hat on. At least he some film to show off and help him improve.

Regardless, congratulations to all three players and good luck in your endeavors!
