Tennessee is looking to pull a running back out of the Memphis area for the second straight season. The Vols were able to keep four-star running back Eric Gray in the state in the 2019 cycle, giving them their only back in that class.
Following three-star running back Ebony Jackson’s decommitment last weekend, Tennessee is in need of another back in the 2020 class, perhaps a couple.
Jabari Small could be a potential answer.
The 2020 back included Tennessee in his top six schools on Friday, along with Ole Miss, Michigan, Texas A&M, Missouri and Arkansas.
Although I know some things may change over time, I will be focusing on these 6 schools until I commit. #GodGotMe

Small is a three-star all purposed back, ranked as the 738th player in the class, according to the 247 Sports Composite. He’s the 24th ranked player in the state of Tennessee and the 10th rated all-purpose back in the class.
The 5-10, 190 pound runner picked up his Tennessee offer last summer. His recruitment really took off this spring, however. Texas A&M, Michigan, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, Missouri and Arkansas each offered Small this spring.
Small is the son of Eddie Small, a former Ole Miss receiver. The rebels currently hold two crystal ball projections for Jabari.
