For the first time since 2005, the Tennessee Volunteers are headed to the NCAA Baseball Tournament. They were one of 64 teams to make the tournament on Monday afternoon.

The Vols (38-19, 14-16) were awarded the No. 2 seed on Monday and will take on the No. 3 seed Liberty University (42-19) Friday night. The series will be played in Raleigh, North Carolina and first pitch is scheduled for 7PM EST.

Here’s a look at the regional bracket.

It’s a major turnaround for the program after years of disappointing play. Now the next step is a tournament win for Tony Vitello’s squad.

The regional tournament will be double-elimination with the winner advancing to face the winner of the Atlanta regional, which features Georgia Tech and Auburn.
