Jordan Bone announces that he will remain in 2019 NBA Draft

Now it’s official.

Tennessee fans got the news they probably already knew on Tuesday night as junior point guard Jordan Bone announced his plans to stay in the 2019 NBA Draft. Bone made the announcement via a video on Twitter.

“The announcement that I have to make today is that I will continue to keep my name in the 2019 NBA Draft,” Bone said. “It’s always been my dream as a kid. The love and appreciation from Vol Nation is something that will never go away and I’ll always cherish.”

Tennessee is now down four of their five starters from last season. Grant Williams also declared and opted to keep his name in the draft, while Admiral Schofield and Kyle Alexander have graduated and are currently going through the draft process.

Rick Barnes now has one more spot to fill on his roster, which now likely has to be depth a the point guard position.
