The receiver position continues to be a need for Tennessee in the class of 2020. The staff is hoping that Kris Abrams-Draine can help round out the numbers at the position next season. The four-star receiver out of Spanish Fort, Alabama narrowed his choices down to five this afternoon, including Tennessee on his list.
Ole Miss, Florida State, Oregon and West Virginia joined the Vols in his top five.
The 6-1, 170 pound receiver is a four-star prospect in the 2020 class. He’s the 237th ranked player in the class overall, according to 247 Sports. Abrams-Draine is the 47th ranked receiver in the class as of now.
Abrams-Draine visited Tennessee twice this spring. He made headlines when he decommitted from LSU just days before one of his trips to Knoxville earlier in the year. Since that visit, Abrams-Draine has picked up an offer from Florida State, who now lands in his top five schools.
He has an official visit to West Virginia lined up for June 14th and he saw Ole Miss on an unofficial visit last weekend.
Abrams-Draine caught 44 passes for 584 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior last season.
