It’s July, meaning football is literally just weeks away at this point. As the offseason begins to wrap up, Tennessee fans are wondering what kind of improvement Jeremy Pruitt will be able to deliver in year two.
After winning just five games in 2018, Tennessee returns most of their starters in 2019. What will that be worth? According to the Caesars Sports Book, at least one more win. Caesars has placed a win total of 6.5 on the Volunteers for the 2019 season, up from 5.5 in most places last season.

Tennessee will navigate a slightly easier schedule in 2019, essentially swapping out West Virginia for BYU and Auburn for Mississippi State.
Even through that tough 2018 slate, the Volunteers picked up two unexpected wins over top 25 teams — Auburn and Kentucky. The young Vols ran out of steam down the stretch though, suffering blowout losses to Missouri and Vanderbilt with a bowl bid on the line.
With an easier start to the season, it’s fairly easy to find a path to six wins for Tennessee this season. But with their win total set at 6.5, can you find that 7th win? That is going to depend on games like South Carolina, Missouri, Vanderbilt and Kentucky. Three of those four teams have win totals equal to or below Tennessee.
Here’s a look at the rest of the conference, per Caesars win totals.
