One week. We’re officially one week from fall camp getting underway in Knoxville. The unofficial start to football season is set for August 2nd, where Jeremy Pruitt will get things rolling with a press conference on Friday. We should get our first look at a depth chart, then receive some updates on the roster — maybe even a little news on Aubrey Solomon and DeAngelo Gibbs.
Tennessee will start Fall camp next Friday, August 2nd.

Cutcliffe talks Fulmer
Current Duke head coach David Cutcliffe was asked about Phillip Fulmer on Thursday. The longtime Tennessee assistant had nothing but glowing remarks about Fulmer, saying he is a planner and a doer. Cutcliffe added that Tennessee better not let him go anytime soon.
“Phillip is a doer,” Cutcliffe said. “When he’s going to be in charge of Tennessee athletics, you’re going to see things move forward.”
"They better try to hang onto him as long as they can, that would be my advice."

Date set for Tennessee-Kansas
It was reported earlier this week — now it’s official. Tennessee will play Kansas once again this season as a part of the SEC-Big 12 Challenge in January. It adds to a grueling non-conference schedule for the Vols, who will try to replace four starters this year.
The date has been set for January 25th. Other matchups on that day include Kansas State at Alabama, TCU at Arkansas, Iowa State at Auburn, Baylor at Florida, Kentucky at Texas Tech, LSU at Texas, Mississippi State at Oklahoma, Missouri at West Virginia and Oklahoma State at Texas A&M.
All games will be shown across the ESPN platform.
Smith, Johnson named to Wuerffel watchlist
The Wuerffel Trophy is known as “College Football’s Premier Award for Community Service.” Kyle Phillips was named to the watchlist last season, now Tennessee has placed two more on the list. Offensive linemen Trey Smith and Ryan Johnson were named to the watchlist this season.
Both have performed on the football field and in the classroom. They’ve also become leaders on campus, participating in the VOLeaders program during their time in Knoxville.
Congrats to both!
Harper and Martin reminisce
In the latest Karaoke with Kellie video, Coach Harper took Tee Martin for a ride around campus. The two swapped stories about their 1998 title seasons while reflecting on certain spots around campus. This is worth a watch.
️ FEELS LIKE '98!
