Tennessee is set to kick off fall camp tomorrow, but before they did, the Vols picked up another 2020 commitment on Thursday afternoon. James Robinson went ahead and made things official just days after releasing a top five that included Tennessee, Auburn, Mississippi State, Texas A&M and Ole Miss.

Today, he’s a Tennessee Volunteer.

This is the third interior offensive lineman to commit to Tennessee’s 2020 class. He joins center Cooper Mays and guard Javontez Spraggins.

Robinson is a three-star prospect, according to 247 Sports. He’s the 744th ranked player in the class and the 42nd ranked guard prospect in the country. His offer list doesn’t exactly match that ranking, however. He held offers from each of the schools listed above, along with Nebraska, Missouri and Virginia Tech.

The 6-4, 323 pound offensive lineman is out of Carver, Alabama.

Robinson told 247 Sports that he has not yet totally shut down his recruitment. Texas A&M came in late with an offer last month and could be a place that he chooses to visit this fall. He still has four official visits left.

Robinson’s commitment gives Tennessee their 13th current commitment of the 2020 cycle, moving them up to 27th in the class rankings.
