Tennessee has announced its 2020 football schedule this afternoon, featuring one notable change. The headlining move will be Georgia and Missouri essentially swapping spots on the schedule next season, alleviating the brutal four week stretch that typically features matchups against Florida, Georgia and Alabama.

Tennessee will head to Athens on November 14th in 2020, perhaps creating a key late season SEC East matchup for years to come. Missouri is now slated for October 3rd.
The Vols will open with Charlotte in Neyland Stadium, before heading to Oklahoma for a big time non-conference matchup in week two. Tennessee has Arkansas for their other SEC West matchup, which will happen on Halloween night next year.
Everything else on the schedule appears to be business as usual. Furman and Troy round out the other non-conference opponents for the Volunteers in 2020.
