After an 0-2 start, Tennessee is looking to finally break into the win column with an in-state matchup against the Chattanooga Mocs this Saturday in Neyland Stadium. The Vols have dropped games against Georgia State and BYU to start the season, torpedoing the outlook for 2019.
Chattanooga will make the trip up I-75 on Saturday to face the Volunteers. The Mocs are 1-1, fresh off a loss to Jacksonville State last Saturday. New head coach Rusty Wright won his debut game two weeks ago, beating Eastern Illinois 24-10 at home.
Vegas has placed Tennessee as a 28 point favorite for this FBS vs. FCS matchup. The Volunteers have failed to cover the spread in each of their first two matchups this year. Georgia State pulled the upset week one against Tennessee after closing as 24.5 point underdogs.

Despite the loss and the late game heartbreak against BYU, Tennessee did show signs of life both defensively and in the run game. But how will they respond to the latest loss? Will Jeremy Pruitt be able to keep them engaged for a noon kick ahead of the Florida game? Considering what has happened during the first two weeks of the season, you would certainly hope so.
Tennessee holds a 28-1-2 record against Chattanooga. This matchup dates all the way back to 1907.
Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET. You can catch this one on the SEC Network.
