Tennessee pulled off its first win of the 2019 season this past Saturday against the Tennessee-Chattanooga Mocs. It was a dominating, 45-0 win that saw all three phases of the team excel to an extent.
Obviously, the Vols aren’t anywhere close to a top-25 team, so they likely won’t be seen in any such poll this year, but let’s go ahead and check in on SB Nation’s top-25 FanPulse poll:

There are some changes from last week’s poll. LSU moved past Oklahoma, Florida dropped to No. 10, and Utah cracked the top-10. Wisconsin continues to move up, USC and Mississippi State dropped out of the top-25, and Arizona State and Virginia are newcomers.

Confidence is up after the Vol’s win against UTC last week:

Last week, only about a third of fans were encouraged about the program’s direction. That number has since risen to over 50%.
Hopefully it’ll be even higher after the matchup with the Florida Gators on Saturday.
