In a program lacking bright spots right now, freshman linebacker Henry To’o To’o is certainly providing one. The 2019 four-star signee has been every bit as advertised, and then some through four games for the Volunteers.
To’o To’o has been an immediate starter from just about the opening day of camp and has already become one of the best players on the Tennessee roster.
During the open week, he sat down for a feature with the Tennessee media department. He talked about his transition to college, Coach Pruitt, his recruiting process and how he’s been able to play so well so early.
Making an early impact was only one goal for @HenryTootoo1 when he stepped foot on campus this summer.

“Coach Pruitt is a real genuine dude,” To’o To’o said of his head coach. “He cares about you and wants the best out of you. Sometimes it’ll be rough, but he just wants the best out of you.”
Tennessee saw two linebackers leave the program this week in Shanon Reid and Will Ignont, meaning even more will be on To’o To’o’s plate going forward.
The good news for Tennessee? He seems plenty ready to take on that challenge.
