Tennessee (2-1) returns home today for a noon-kick game against Kentucky (1-2) in Neyland Stadium. The Volunteers are coming off of a disappointing second half performance against Georgia, which was the No. 3 Bulldogs pull away and turn a halftime deficit into a blowout victory.
Kentucky was able to bounce back last week, picking up their first win of the season in a 24-2 win over Mississippi State.
It’ll be the latest chapter in a long series of games that the Volunteers have completely dominated. 1984 was the last time Kentucky won a game inside of Neyland Stadium. Since then, they’ve beaten Tennessee just twice — 2012 and 2017.
Mark Stoops has the program consistently winning for the first time in a long time, but Tennessee still has their number. Let’s see how this one plays out.
