Welcome to week three of the SEC season! This week is headlined by the Tennessee Volunteers travelling to Athens to take on the Georgia Bulldogs, creating an early showdown in the SEC East.
The Volunteers, who are 2-0 after wins over South Carolina and Missouri, are looking to take that next step and join the conversation in the race for the East. Georgia, on the other hand, is looking to keep its seat atop the division.
Elsewhere in SEC play, you’ve got Texas A&M vs. Florida and Mississippi State vs. Kentucky. Our staff is split on both matchups, with Clint being bold enough to take the Aggies and Nick taking Mike Leach’s Bulldogs.
We’re all in agreement on Auburn over Arkansas, LSU over Missouri, Alabama over Ole Miss and South Carolina over Vandy. Nick is the bravest of the bunch — the only one picking Tennessee to upset Georgia, though each of us have the Vols covering a 12.5 point spread.
