In an effort to add another non-conference matchup, Tennessee has shifted two games around to fit everyone’s schedule. Games against Tennessee Tech and USC Upstate now have new dates, while a game against Saint Joseph’s has been scheduled for December 21st.
The Tennessee Tech and USC Upstate games were each moved one day to make things work.
So the new mid-December schedule looks like this:
Friday, Dec. 18 – vs. Tennessee Tech | 7 p.m. ET | SEC Network+
Monday, Dec. 21 – vs. Saint Joseph’s | 6 p.m. ET | SEC Network
Wednesday, Dec. 23 – vs. USC Upstate | 5 p.m. ET | SEC Network
Tennessee will host Cincinnati on Saturday for their second game of the season. The Vols got things going on Tuesday night with a win over the Colorado Buffaloes.
Tennessee will also host Appalachian State on December 15th.
Following the meeting with USC Upstate, Tennessee’s SEC slate will begin with at trip to Missouri on December 30th. The Volunteers are now currently slated to play a total of 25 games, but as we’ve seen, things can change in a hurry.
