Tennessee’s brutal stretch to end the 2019-20 regular season begins today. The Vols will head south to Auburn to take on Bruce Pearl’s Tigers, who sit at 22-4 overall. Auburn has dropped two straight games and will be looking to rebound this afternoon to right the ship.
Tennessee is limping home to the finish, but they are coming off of a win at home against the Vanderbilt Commodores. The Volunteers are getting big offensive production from John Fulkerson, but not a whole lot else consistently. Jordan Bowden, Josiah James, Santiago Vescovi and Yves Pons will all have to step up today for the Vols to pull the upset.
One key injury situation to monitor heading into this one is the status of star freshman forward Isaac Okoro. He’s missed the last two games and is questionable for today’s matchup. If he’s able to go, that’s an obvious big boost for the Tigers.
