Following a productive weekend in the Round Rock Classic, Tennessee baseball is now ranked 24th in the nation, according to D1Baseball.

Tennessee beat No. 1 Texas Tech 6-2 on Friday night. They backed that up with a 8-4 win over Houston on Saturday, then beat Stanford 7-2 on Sunday to complete the weekend sweep. On their way to the tournament title, Tennessee outscored their opponents by a combined 21-8 score, winning the Inaugural Round Rock Classic.

Jake Rucker powered the Tennessee offense, collecting five hits in just 12 at bats over the weekend. Zach Daniels, Jordan Beck and Connor Pavolony each drove in three runs during the tournament. As a whole, the pitching staff walked away with a 2.33 ERA for the weekend.

The Volunteers improved to a perfect 7-0 on the season, set to return home for a ten game homestand starting on Tuesday night against Northern Kentucky.
