The NFL Combine is underway from Indianapolis, Indiana. The key NFL Draft event will give teams a chance to interview prospects, get official measurements, perform medical checks and watch prospects perform a variety of athletic tests.
The Tennessee Volunteers sent five players to the event this season. Receiver Jauan Jennings and pass rusher Darrell Taylor are the two most prominent names. Each could hear their names called as early as day two of the NFL Draft in April.
Daniel Bituli, Dominick Wood-Anderson and Marquez Callaway are the other players attending. Safety Nigel Warrior did not receive an invite.
The Combine is operating under a new schedule this year, spanning from Sunday to Sunday. On-field testing will begin on Thursday night in primetime, with the receivers, tight ends and quarterbacks kicking things off. Offensive linemen and running backs will follow on Friday, then defensive line and linebackers will test on Saturday. Defensive backs will round out the activity on Sunday.
With the receivers and tight ends weighing in today, we already have our first batch of results for the Tennessee prospects. This post will be updated with Taylor and Bituli’s results later in the week. We will also include 40 yard dash results, agility testing, jumps and other athletic testing as they become available.
