Tennessee vs. Florida: How to watch, game thread

Another tough test.

NCAA Basketball: Louisiana State at Florida Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Tennessee continues their tough stretch of games to end the season today, set to face the Florida Gators in Knoxville.

An up and down season for the Gators is trending towards ending on a high note, with Florida winning four of their last five games. Now sitting at 18-10 overall, Florida seems solidly in the NCAA Tournament. They’re also in good position to land a top four seed in the SEC Tournament.

Florida is powered by Keyontae Johnson and Kerry Blackshear Jr., each averaging over 13 points and seven rebounds per game. Guards Andrew Nembhard and Noah Locke each average double figure points as well.

Tennessee — well — they’re limping home to the finish. Inconsistency has been the name of the game all season in a transitional season for the Volunteers. They just haven’t been able to find that long term offensive success through the struggles of Jordan Bowden and additions of Santiago Vescovi and Uros Plavsic.

This team is capable of hanging with anyone on the right day, you just never know when that day is coming. Problem is, they’re running out of time.
