One of Tennessee’s top defensive line targets in the 2021 class has narrowed his choices down to six. South Carolina native Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins included Tennessee in that final six, alongside of Florida State, South Carolina, Penn State, North Carolina and Georgia.

Ingram-Dawkins is the 17th ranked defensive tackle prospect and the top prospect in the state of South Carolina, per 247Sports. The 6-5, 298 pound prospect has crystal ball projections split between the Gamecocks and the Bulldogs.
Tennessee sent out their offer to Ingram-Dawkins back in January. They were immediately able to get him on campus for a visit during the following weekend.
The Volunteers have been white hot on the recruiting trail, jumping from 13th to 2nd in the class rankings over the last three weeks. Out of nowhere, Tennessee now has 21 names in the boat for their 2021 class, creating a bit of a numbers situation for the coming months.
Tennessee currently has four-star defensive tackle Katron Evans and three-star defensive tackle Isaac Washington committed to their current class. Ingram-Dawkins certainly fits what Tennessee looks for in their defensive front — a big body with length. He’s added nearly 60 pounds from his sophomore season and seems ready to hop directly into a rotation next fall.
