Tennessee is a finalist for one of the top offensive line prospects in the 2021 cycle. Dylan Fairchild, a four-star guard prospect out of Georgia, named the Volunteers to his top six on Friday afternoon.
LSU, South Carolina, Georgia, Penn State and Auburn joined Tennessee on his list.

The 6-5, 298 pound guard is the 42nd overall prospect in the class, according to 247Sports. Fairchild is the 5th rated prospect in the state of Georgia, a place that Jeremy Pruitt and his staff continue to hit hard.
Tennessee got Fairchild on campus just before the recruiting pause on March 7th. He picked up his offer from the Volunteers in August of 2019.
The homestate Georgia Bulldogs are the perceived leader here. Fairchild picked up his Georgia offer during a visit to Athens at the beginning of March. The Bulldogs currently hold eight crystal ball projections for the four-star prospect.
Tennessee added its first offensive line prospect to their 2021 class this week, picking up a commitment from four-star tackle Colby Smith. It was just the latest of several new commitments for the Volunteers, who are easily the hottest team on the recruiting trail right now. That momentum is expected to carry through the weekend, where four-star prospects Aaron Willis, Katron Evans and Kaidon Salter are expected commit.
Fairchild is a name to file away for the coming months as Tennessee tries to finish out their class.
