The remainder of Tennessee’s summer enrollees arrived last weekend in Knoxville, just in time to begin voluntary workouts within the football program. The members of the 2020 class, which finished ranked tenth in the nation, were assigned jersey numbers today.

These freshmen now join others in the class who have enrolled early. Harrison Bailey will wear No. 15, athlete Jimmy Holiday will wear No. 10, defensive tackle Dominic Bailey will wear No. 59, while center Cooper Mays chose No. 63.
Transfers Cade Mays will wear No. 68 and Velus Jones Jr. will wear No. 13.
In total, Tennessee welcomed 91 players back to campus last week. Each of those members had been off campus since the COVID-19 outbreak forced teams to shut down spring practice after just a couple of sessions.
How these newcomers adjust to this new setting is a major wildcard in such an odd offseason. Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to see how it all plays out later on this year.
