When it comes to needs on the roster, receiver might just rank near the bottom of that list. Tennessee pulled in four four-star receivers in the 2020 class, and currently hold commitments from four more in the 2021 class.
Julian Nixon, Jordan Mosley, Walker Merrill and Roc Taylor make up the current group, but despite that, Tennessee has remained in the mix for a few more names. Deion Colzie is one of those prospects, and he announced a top ten over the weekend, which included Tennessee.
Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Auburn, Oregon, Notre Dame, Alabama, Ole Miss and Penn State made up the rest of his group.

Colzie is a 6-4, 193 pound prospect out of Athens, Georgia. The hometown Georgia Bulldogs are the clear favorite for Colzie, currently sitting with several crystal ball projections, per 247Sports.
Colzie ranks as the 45th overall prospect in the 2021 class — the 5th ranked receiver in the country, per the 247Sports Composite. At a regional event for The Opening, Colzie was clocked at an impressive 4.56, while posting a 36.30 inch vertical leap.
Tennessee has been in the hunt for Colzie since May of 2018, where they sent out one of his earliest offers. He ended up committing to Notre Dame in 2019, but opened things back up in March. Now Tennessee will be one of a handful of teams fighting to get him on campus for a visit this fall.
The Volunteers currently hold the third ranked class in the 2021 cycle with 23 commitments.
