Davis signed with Tennessee as a three-star cornerback in the class of 2018. He was one of the final additions to the class, as Jeremy Pruitt tried to fill his biggest need in his first class. Davis was the 1,768th ranked player in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
The 5-10 defensive back is out of New Orleans, Louisiana. After signing as a cornerback, Davis had spent time working with the safeties. After the departure of Nigel Warrior, Davis was somewhere in the mix to compete for a backup role. Jaylen McCollough, Theo Jackson and Trevon Flowers are the main three players in the mix at the position.
Davis redshirted in 2018 and appeared in just one game for Tennessee in 2019, coming against UAB.
