Complete 2020 SEC schedule to be released on Monday

Busy day coming.

NCAA Football: Alabama at Tennessee Bryan Lynn-USA TODAY Sports

Not only will SEC teams begin practicing on Monday, but they’ll also learn how their new schedule looks. The opponents are set, with the league moving to a ten game model and cutting out non-conference games this fall.

Using a formula based on strength of schedule, the SEC added two additional opponents to each team’s schedule. Tennessee was awarded Auburn and Texas A&M.

While we know who the Vols are playing in 2020, we still don’t know how the schedule will line up. That will change tomorrow, as the week one opponents will be revealed live on Finebaum at 3 p.m. ET on the SEC Network. The rest of the schedule will be released at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network.

Tennessee’s opponents for the 2020 season will be Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri and Texas A&M at home, with road matchups coming against Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina and Vanderbilt.

The league is set to begin play on September 26th.
