It’s not all that often that you get a complete schedule reveal just weeks before the season begins, but 2020 is no ordinary year. Tennessee’s full schedule is set once again, complete with ten SEC matchups.
The altered 2020 season is slated to begin on September 26th.
The SEC slashed all non-conference matchups for this season, keeping each of their 14 programs operating under a single umbrella this fall. Meanwhile, both the Big Ten and Pac-12 have already postponed their fall seasons and will try to play in the spring.
A ten game slate meant that the league had to add two conference opponents to each team’s schedule. Using a strength of schedule formula, Tennessee was awarded games against Texas A&M and Auburn.
All of the opponents were set — we just needed some dates. We got those tonight, as the SEC announced the full slate of games for the fall.
