The first AP Top 25 poll is out, and the Tennessee Volunteers are officially a ranked football team. Tennessee was the final team to make the cut, ranking 25th in the nation ahead of the 2020 season.
The Volunteers narrowly missed out on being ranked in the Coaches Poll earlier this month, coming in as the team with the 26th most votes.
The Clemson Tigers took the top spot in the AP Poll, edging out Ohio State. As you know by now though, the Big Ten and Pac-12 have already postponed their seasons this fall and will attempt to play in the spring. Still, a full poll was released today by the Associated Press.
SEC schools made up a good chunk of the poll with Alabama (3), Georgia (4), LSU (6), Florida (8), Auburn (11), Texas A&M (13) and Tennessee (25). The full poll is listed below.
