It’s getting real.

After a long, weird, winding offseason, it’s finally starting to get real. Tennessee’s first two kickoff times are now set, along with the television designation. The Volunteers will start their season with a road trip to South Carolina to take on Will Muschamp’s Gamecocks on September 26th.

That opener will be a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff, brought to you live on the SEC Network. Tennessee will then host Missouri on October 3rd for the home opener in Knoxville, which will be a noon ET kickoff on the SEC Network.

Tennessee’s November 7th trip to Arkansas was also announced as a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff, scheduled to be carried by either ESPN or SEC Network.

CBS also announced a few of their selections today, none of which featured Tennessee to start. LSU-Mississippi State, Georgia-Alabama, Alabama-LSU, Georgia-Florida, Alabama-Texas A&M and LSU-Auburn were the network’s initial selections.

Using the current open dates for CBS, Tennessee’s matchups against Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Auburn each are options to be selected the SEC’s game of the week.
