SEC football is here! On Saturday, college football’s premier conference will kick off their ten game 2020 season. Here at Rocky Top Talk, we’ve partnered with Tallysight to offer our picks straight up and against the spread. Our staff’s picks will be posted on the site each Friday morning.
It’s a bit of a lackluster opening week in the conference, with just one ranked matchup on the schedule. Kentucky will travel to Auburn to kick the day off tomorrow at noon ET. After that, we may not see a competitive game until the nightcap, which features our Tennessee Volunteers taking on the South Carolina Gamecocks in Columbia.
Florida-Ole Miss, LSU-Mississippi State, Georgia-Arkansas, Vanderbilt-Texas A&M and Alabama-Missouri make up the rest of the slate, and our staff understandably went with the chalk in our picks below — although the picks against the spread did differ quite a bit.
