It wasn’t the prettiest, but nobody expected it to be. At the end of the day, Tennessee got the job done against South Carolina. It was a 31-27 victory for the Volunteers, getting the season off on the right foot.
The Vols quickly overcame a slow start after a pick six from Henry To’o To’o, then put together a few offensive drives that ended in touchdowns. Freshman Jimmy Holiday sealed the win for Tennessee, falling on a muffed punt to end it.
Tennessee put together a really cool view of the game from the sidelines, offering a different view of how things played out on Saturday night. It was cool to see the players’ interactions with the coaching staff and the pure energy of the sidelines during big moments in the game.
