Well, so much for that. Tennessee-Vanderbilt is off tonight, following COVID issues on the Vandy side. The in-state rivals were set to play two games this week, one on Tuesday and another on Saturday.
Tuesday night's game has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Vanderbilt program.

At this time there has been no change in status for Saturday's game against the Commodores in Knoxville.https://t.co/6h5xCo57v5
Over the weekend, Vanderbilt had its game with Missouri called off, while Tennessee had its game with South Carolina postponed. That created an opportunity for the two schools to go back to back, but now that’s unable to happen.
This game was initially slated for February 23rd, so they could easily shift back to that date. That still leaves the South Carolina matchup without a date, however. The SEC did leave the week after the regular season open for this very reason. An open week between the end of the regular season and the beginning of the SEC Tournament could prove to be pretty useful here.
Tennessee will now wait to see if they can play their game with the Commodores on Saturday in Knoxville.
