This should be fun.
Tennessee and Ole Miss are set for battle tonight at Neyland Stadium. Tonight marks Lane Kiffin’s return to Knoxville for the first time as an opposing head coach. His Rebels are 4-1, and have the second best offense in the country.
The Volunteers are coming off of back to back blowout wins in SEC play — riding high off of Josh Heupel’s offense. Tennessee has scored 28 points in back to back first quarters, putting South Carolina and Missouri away early. They’ll have a much tougher task tonight, but they will be facing an Ole Miss defense that can be beat.
If you pay attention to Vegas, things are interesting. Tennessee opened as a 4 point underdog, but that has come all the way down a pick ‘em today. The Vols are even favorites in some spots now.
This seems like the most buzz we’ve had for a football game since the 2016 season. It’s a huge moment for Heupel and company — how will they respond?
