SEC Week 10 Picks: Straight up and against the spread

NCAA Football: Kentucky at Mississippi State Matt Bush-USA TODAY Sports

November is here, and we’re somehow already into week ten of the college football season. Tennessee has a big one this weekend, set to make the trip north to face the No. 18 Kentucky Wildcats.

The Vols are 4-4, and a win here could set them up for a potential seven win season — which would be an impressive mark in year one for Josh Heupel. Tennessee has some believers in this spot, as the spread has fallen all the way to a pick ‘em after opening Kentucky -3.

Elsewhere, LSU will face Alabama and Florida will travel to South Carolina. It’s an interesting scenario for Dan Mullen, who is feeling the heat in Gainesville. He needs a win this weekend, and needs to pass the eye test as well to cool his seat a bit.

The biggest game of the weekend is Auburn at Texas A&M. Auburn can control their own destiny in the SEC West here with a win and the Iron Bowl looming.
